Shaker Nightstand

The first project at North Bennet Street School. Shaker furniture is characterized by minimalist, functional design, featuring clean lines, tapered legs, and durable solid wood construction. This was built from cherry and poplar and finished with super blonde shellac. Held together with mortise and tenon joints and hidden dovetails, this table will last for generations. This table features a dovetailed drawer that glides smoothly on wooden rails.
